Louis R Carrozza
Director of Maintenance/Owner

Mr. Carrozza has been involved in aircraft maintenance for the past 19 years. He is a graduate of Riverside School of Aeronautics. During his career he has worked on a wide variety of aircraft including repairing and restoring antique aircraft, building and maintaining experimental aircraft as well as extensive experience in the maintenance and management of corporate aircraft. He has attended Flight Safety Maintenance Initial for the Cessna 560, 750, Falcon 2000 and Gulfstream IV. He is a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician and also holds an Inspectors authorization and Private Pilot certificate. 

Mr. Carrozza is active in a number of aviation organizations including NBAA, PAMA, AOPA, EAA.


Melondee Carrozza

Mrs. Carrozza has been involved in Business and Finance for the past 18 years. She is a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in accounting and Business Management. Mrs. Carrozza was previously employed by Prima and Acumen Solutions as their Chief Financial officer.



 

Danny Arbello
Maintenance Manager

Mr. Arbello has been involved in aviation maintenance for the past 30 years. He is the newest member of our team joining our organization in September of 2009. Mr. Arbello previously was employed by NetJets Inc as their Maintenance Field Coordinator for the Baltimore Washington area. Mr. Arbello's wealth of knowledge and experience is a welcome addition to our team! He has attended Flight Safety Maintenance Initial for the Cessna 560, 560xl, 680, 750, Falcon 2000, Hawker 800xp, Gulfstream 200, IV and V. He is a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician and also holds an Inspectors authorization and Private Pilot certificate. 


Christopher Morehouse

Mr. Morehouse has been involved in aviation maintenance for the past 10 years. He is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia. He has been a part of the Sun Aircraft family since 2004. He is a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician and also holds an Inspectors authorization and Private Pilot certificate. He has attended Flight Safety Maintenance Initial for the Lear 31.

Mr. House has been involved in aviation maintenance for the past 10 years. He is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia. He has been a part of the Sun Aircraft family since 2003. He is a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician and also holds an Inspectors authorization and Private Pilot certificate. He has attended Flight Safety Maintenance Initial for the Cessna 560xl.



David VanDyke
Avionics Manager

Mr. VanDyke has been involved in avionics installation and maintenance for the past 20 years. He has been a part of the Sun Aircraft family since 2010. Previous employers includes Piper Aircraft, Lokheed-Martin and Gulfstream Aerospace where he served as an Avionics Supervisor in the Corporate Flight Department and Flight engeneer onboard the G550 demonstration aircraft during its many record breaking flights around the world. He has attended Flight Safety Maintenance Initial for the Gulfstream GIV, G550 and G200 aircraft. He has also attended Honeywell Planeview,Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 Avionics, RVSM/DRVSM Maintenance, Rockwell Collins Cabin Management Systems and Honeywell TFE-731 and Rolls Royce BR710 engine courses. He is a certified Aircraft Mechanic.

 

Craig Gidick

Mr. Gidick has been involved in aviation maintenance for the past 14 years. He is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He has been a part of the Sun Aircraft family since 2006. Previously he was employed by Independence Airline and Atlantic Coast Airlines. He is a licensed Airframe and Powerplant technician.



Katherine Harnest

Ms. Harnest has been a part of the Sun Aircraft family since 2005. She is an essential part in the day to day operations of our organization! She handles all maintenance invoicing, documentation/record mangement and manages the FAA/DOT Employee Drug Program. She is also approved to ship Dangerous goods (HAZMAT).

Mrs. Braden has been a part of the Sun Aircraft family since 2007. She is a graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Business Management. She is in charge of our Parts department as well as the shipping and receiving department. She is also approved to ship Dangerous goods (HAZMAT).
